Wisconsin’s transportation construction industry continues to foster the next generation of leaders through its scholarship program geared toward state university and technical college students. The WTBA Scholarship Program has awarded approximately $185,000 in scholarships over the past 25 years to students who plan to work in the construction industry.
The scholarships are funded through the generous donations of WTBA member companies to an annual scholarship auction.
WTBA invites eligible students to apply for this year's scholarship program. THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, OCT. 29, 2010. The following scholarships are available:
WTBA Engineering Scholarship
WTBA awards $2,000 scholarships to students enrolled in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management and related curriculums at universities throughout the state. Schools currently participating in the scholarship program are Marquette University, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Platteville and UW-Stout.

WTBA Engineering Technician Scholarship
WTBA awards $750 scholarships to students enrolled in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management and related curriculums at technical colleges throughout the state. Schools currently participating in the scholarship program are Madison Area Technical College, Northeast WI Technical College, Midstate Technical College, Moraine Park Technical College and Chippewa Valley Technical College.

WTBA Engineering Scholarship (Michigan Tech)
WTBA awards a $2,000 scholarship to a Wisconsin student enrolled in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or a related curriculum at Michigan Technological University. Note: This scholarship is only available to Wisconsin residents.
